Recently decided to invest in one of those Chain Bracelet/Ring things (mines from ASOS), it looks pretty fresh and I got loads of compliments at college! Would only recommend getting one if you can put up with not being able to move your hand in certain ways? Haha, but its still pretty snazzy! Also the Gold Earrings are from Primark, pack of 5 for a pound I think? So its all very Jewellery driven haha, but don't over do it and look like a tart! (words of wisdom from mumma hughes there)

This was my 'cheap-shit-tee-and-nice-bits-of-gold-to-make-me-look-classy-look'. The Black Strokes Tee is from HMV (they have loads of stuff like this for only like a fiver!) and the Blue Bodycon Skirt is from H&M. I tucked it in to give me a waist and because high waisted skirts are tres tres on trend. Mixing old/new and classy/dull is very 'in' at the moment so don't be afraid to clash and mix it up!

 So this is my 'too ashamed to see anyone' look. Never take the sunglasses off though. Rule. The denim jacket is stolen from my papa, lets call it vintage; the scarf is from Urban Outfitters and the black leggings are Topshop!
The baggy top and large jacket cover up any alcohol bloat (you know what I'm chatting) and the scarf gives it a lil bit 'oh colour. The sunnies are on trend too - win! :)

been a while!

I'm not hipster enough to dedicate my life to this!

First month back at college has been like woooww. I twisted the cartilage in my knee falling up some stairs (yep, I managed to fall up) and now I have a chest infection. So I'm not being lazy with not uploading anything but er, I have a life! HOWEVER hopefully once I've started sorting everything out college and illness wise I'll get all the beauuuutiful pics of my vain vain self :D

I nicked a granny's shirt

 

'Well you shouldn't have bought a size 22 then...'

I didn't actually nick this shirt, it was just 'a steal' at £1.50 on Ebay! See what I did there? But yes, it was actually a size 22, and obviously I didn't realise that clothes get longer when they're bigger sizes and you don't 'fill' the shirt. So I had to wear it as a potentially too short dress, the windy day at college was so fun!

The blue shirt is vintage and the black belt was from H&M. Now ideally I should have worn silver jewellery with this outfit cause it matches the belt buckle and silver goes great with light blue, but I'm just living life on the accessories edge here! fuk da fashon polis! 

12 days till pay day so expect an incoming of beauuuuutiful clothes and I'll finally get round to uploading some street style pictures!

Touchy Feely

'Oh, it's American Apparel, but I got in on Ebay for £8... I know!'

This look is a new one I put together twenty minutes before I left for college this morning (thats why I haven't posted for like 2 weeks!). The Blue Skirt is American Apparel that i got on Ebay for £7.82! Best buy ever right? Got to love a bit of Ebay shopping. The ridiculous thing is that I nearly bought the same for £36 off A/A. Thank god for online bidding, haha! No joke though, half the fun of wearing the skirt is feeling it! Feels shiny? If that makes sense? I LAAAVVV IT! It really is the kind of skirt that goes with anything, dress it up or down but when wearing a skirt I have to wear it high waister cause otherwise everyone gets a cheeky peek off my ever-present food baby - its not so pretty!

I'm wearing a Cropped White Tee from H&M, I bought a load of them in lots of colours a little while ago, their from the basics range they have so not very expensive. I would recommend getting some cause they're so useful!

Love sparkly Jackets!

Don't we all just love a sparkly jacket?

The Black/White Sequined Jacket is actually my mums (cheeky!) so who knows where its from, love a bit of vintage! I've  worn it over a blue stroppy top from Topshop and a grey body con skirt from New Look that I bought years ago but hasn't yet gone out of fashion!

One of the reasons this is a fav outfit is because the jacket is really slimming! The fit is just perfect (well, on me) and it goes with so many things. Dress it up, dress it down.

The jewellery I'm wearing is also a mix of vintage/modern. The bracelets are vintage but the earrings are from Primark (don't judge, they were only a quid).

Reading Festival!

I went to Reading Festival and I'm still alive - Achievement!

So weekend just gone I went to Reading Festival, literally the best week of my life. No Joke. Stayed in a camp with a friend from Surrey and her friends, was proper nervous that they'd all be like 'who dat biatch?' but they were so lovely and welcoming! And the best part of Reading is the fact that everyone you meet is really chatty and lavely :)

The only bad point of the weekend is that I waaaaay underdressed it! Literally everyone there was channelling their inner hipster and had pulled out all the stops. I on the other hand had decided to fuck looking fashionable and wear all my old comfy boring clothes. I even nearly didn't bring make-up cause I assumed that nobody would give a shit about it; thank the lord I did! 

So my recommendations for anyone going to Reading next year is: 

- Take nice clothes, well fashionable ones because you will feel underdressed if you don't (but tbh everyone is to shit faced to really care)

- Don't get so fucked you forget everything (or whitey on the first night and feel like a fool)

- Bring LOTS of food and water bottles cause everything is stupidly priced

- Bring lots of hand sanitizer and tissues, LOTS. and body spray actually, eau de portaloo is a bad take on eau de toilet.

I'LL SEE YOU THERE NEXT YEAR BITCHESSSS!!!!

NEW CLOTHES, YAY!

Went shopping at the weekend and bought my self some laavely new clothes :D The black leather (faux) shorts are from topshop and the white shirt is from American Apparel!

I'm pretty sure I'll wear the shorts lots cause who doesn't love some cheeky leather shorts? And they're actual shorts, not the slutty hot pant kind. But the shirt is oversized and a bit like a cropped mens shirt, if you get what I mean? 

ANYWAY I love my nouvelle clothes and they soaked up my pain from failing my A-levels, retail therapy at its finest!

Metallics!!

 New obsession: Metallics

So the metallic blue skirt I'm wearing is from topshop and I am actually in love! You know those moments when you find a piece of clothing and your worried you'll look scrubby cause you know your going to wear it all the time? Yeah, this is one of those items of clothing!

It looks good with denim (thank god) and the denim shirt I'm wearing is from topshop (such a topshop whore). The gawjus black leather boots are from Aldo and they're my new 'investment piece' cause they cost like 14 hours pay! But they are soooo worth it! LOVE THEM.

Back to metallic, totally going to be in this season and I think everyone should go out and buy something shiny! It just makes everything look a bit more, um, shiny? WE <3 SHINY!

Possibly one of my favourite prints on this Dress, its from River Island ages ago. Love wearing it with this Navy Jumper, that I found in a charity shop, cause it just tones down and in really snug when it isn't so warm! Worn the outfit with blue/white striped espadrilles or just tan sandals - works with anything! 

Wear it with or with-out tights depending on the weather cause black looks good (I know navy and black rule smashed to bits) haha.

Cray-Cray Collars

 Collars, Collars Everywhere!

So I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon with this trend, even though I don't really have the long slender neck thing going on. The Striped Shirt is from ASOS and the Gold/Silver Necklace is one I bought ages ago from New Look maybe? But I thought they'd look cool together, even if it isn't a collar haha. I'm definitely going to be getting some more shirts for A/W, stock up now kinda thing. The only problem is finding bottoms to go with it, but I'll get back to you on that one :) If you have any idea's PLEASE tell meeee, I love getting advice on clothes cause everyone is different (well they should be!)

Pink dip dye!

Shit the bed, she's got pink hair!

Okay so this photo isn't recent and the pink has all washed out and I only have bleached ends now, but I'm getting it back :D YAY! I'll finally be able to channel in inner hipster and hair dye queen into the bleached ends of my hair and pass it off a 'cool' ;)
Will have to get it done again before term starts though because it washes out in a few weeks :( bad timessss, but I might just redo it myself to save the dollar on Toni&Guy !

I wouldn't say it was like amazing news but, I think its pretty damn cool! I just sit typing away random shit and it just looks instantly better than when its all word processed. But let me tell you, spell checker and the back space button as GOD SENDS, I just don't know how people did it before?

 I Got Myself A Birthday Dress!

I bought this Pink Dress from Mango in the sale for only £9.99! Bargain basement or what? It has a dipped hem at the back and its pastel coloured so its so trendy it aches a bit ;) haha, but I actually love it!
I've paired it with some Tan Leather Wedges from Office to give it a summery look :) I'm wearing it for my family birthday meal to Bath so hopefully i won't be too overdressed!

Summer Sun, Somethings Begun...

So its Summer, despite what the weather may say...

This means its bikini and shorts weather - YAY! Unfortunately its not so 'YAY', I have done NO working out so watch out, my stomach's about! Thankfully I bought these Lilac Shorts from Topshop about two months ago in prep for this type of emergency. Pastel Lilac (very on trend) and their high waisted so say good bye to the wobbly muffin top!

The bikini is also from Topshop, bought it about a month ago for only £12! It comes with matching bottoms and its my new fav bikini :D

First - ish Post

First (second) Post - aaawww!

So i maaaay have got a bit carried away with finally getting round to blogging that I forgot to do the standard 'my first post' post! So here it is haha, hopefully in a few years I'll look back at this post on my computer in the ELLE office doing an internship cause they loved my blog ;) PLEASE? 

awkward moment when I work in Maccy-D's for the rest of my life :/

So yeah, atm I'm 17 in a week (baby I know) and it's the summer and this was on my list of things to do before I go back into full time education (hopefully) in September. I excessively use comments in brackets (like this), it's cause I have a sporadic mind and nothing makes sense so I have to add in my own little oh so amusing comments to give what I write 'edge'. Although I do English for A-level my spelling and grammar is appalling, and sometimes I am in such a hurry to type what I'm thinking before I forget that I miss letters off my words and for that I am very very sorry :( (I also use text speak, but I'm a teenager so its okay)

About 30 minutes into the 'Blogging' - looking freeeeesh!

Well, erm, well done if you've read all that, you must have some spare time on your hands cause that was loooong! And I just forgot, I write it how I would speak it (my teachers fucking hate my essays cause they just imagine my voice).

Summer Sale Buys!

My AWSOME summer sale buys, you guys have to go now, leave this page, go. NOW. (read first though please?)

So I went to Bristol on PAYDAY!! Woo! And I got my self this laaaavely Metallic Skirt in the Topshop Sale for only £7, I was a bit like 'uurrrghh, its metallic blue? Say whaaat?' but it has grown on me and now I <3 it! The Grey Marl Tank was £3.99 from Mango too so it was bargains all round! 

I had my eye on these Gold Heels for like 2 months and then they finally came in the sale a week ago for only twenty squids :D I HAD TO HAVE THEM. So i did haha, I also got the Swan Print Jacket, now that was a massive impulse buy, I love patterns and that but never anything quite so... um... swan-y? But when it came in the post I was in love! 

There's so much more to show you so come back later and you'll see more lovely clothes (well I think so anyway) on my size 6-ish figure ;)
